Who operates EzDiet

EzDiet is operated by Jfleites Medical LLC. EzDiet is the brand name of the service described in this policy. You can reach us at drfleitesjr@ezdiet.app.

Information you give us

You provide information directly when you create an account and complete onboarding:

• Account information: your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — the basic account details Google returns to confirm your identity.
• Household information: household size and how often you shop.
• Shopping preferences: your preferred retailer or store and your weekly grocery budget.
• Health-condition selections: the conditions you choose from our onboarding list so recommendations can reflect them.
• Dietary restrictions and food allergies: the allergens and dietary preferences you select.
• Food preferences: items you swap, remove, or add, which we use to improve later recommendations.

You control what you share. If you skip a health or dietary selection, EzDiet simply personalizes with less information.

Information EzDiet creates for you

• Generated grocery carts, including the products selected, quantities, and the prices EzDiet observed at the time.
• Saved cart history, so you can return to a previous shopping list.
• Shopping-guide and retailer handoff information — the product list EzDiet prepares when you choose to shop at a retailer.

Technical information

Like any online service, EzDiet and its infrastructure providers process ordinary operational information such as IP address, browser and device type, and server logs of requests and errors. We use this to keep the service running, secure, and reliable.

EzDiet records a small amount of first-party product-usage information so we can see how the beta is working: which screens are reached, whether onboarding was completed, whether a cart was generated successfully or failed, which cart actions were used, which retailer category was chosen, and the interface language. These records use an anonymous browser identifier and, when you are signed in, your account identifier.

This product-usage information never includes your health conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, budget, household answers, postal code, product names, prices, or nutrition details. It is stored in EzDiet's own database and is not shared with an advertising network.

EzDiet does not use third-party analytics services, advertising, marketing pixels, or cross-site tracking technology.

Cookies and browser storage

EzDiet uses only storage that is necessary or functional:

• Authentication session storage, so you stay signed in.
• Your language preference (English or Spanish).
• Your active cart context, so returning from a retailer brings you back to the right cart.
• A session cookie used when you connect your Kroger account, if you choose to do so.
• An anonymous product-usage identifier used only to group the beta measurements described above.

EzDiet does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies, so it does not present a consent banner for them.

Health-related information you choose to share

EzDiet asks about health conditions, dietary restrictions, and food allergies for one purpose: to personalize grocery recommendations. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

EzDiet is a consumer nutrition and grocery product, not a healthcare provider, health plan, medical device, or medical-record system. We store this information using ordinary industry security practices, and we do not make regulatory claims about it.

How we use information

• To build and refine your personalized grocery recommendations.
• To apply your dietary restrictions and allergen selections to product selection.
• To keep your carts and preferences available across sessions and devices.
• To prepare a shopping list or cart at the retailer you choose.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
• To respond when you contact us.

Service providers and third parties

EzDiet does not sell your personal information. We rely on service providers to operate the product, including hosting, application infrastructure, authentication, and database services, and Google if you choose Google sign-in.

To show products and prices, EzDiet uses third-party retailer and product-data services. When you choose to shop at a retailer, EzDiet sends only the shopping information needed for that action — for example the products and quantities on your list. Those retailers and services operate independently under their own privacy practices.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of EzDiet and its users.

Retention

We keep your account, profile, and cart information while your account is active so the product can work as intended. Some cached product and price information expires automatically and is refreshed. Operational logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

A published retention schedule is not part of this beta release; if you want your information removed sooner, use the request process below.

Your choices and deleting your data

You can review and update your profile, preferences, and carts by signing in. Changing your onboarding answers changes future recommendations.

EzDiet does not currently include a self-service account-deletion button. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email drfleitesjr@ezdiet.app from the address on your account. We will confirm your request and delete the account and its associated profile, preference, and cart records.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections, authenticated access, and per-user access rules at the database level, so your records are reachable only by your account. No online service can promise perfect security. Use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials private.

Where EzDiet is offered

EzDiet is intended for consumers in the United States, and its retailer coverage and product data are U.S.-based. It is intended for adults 18 years of age or older; it is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product develops. When we make a material change, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the application.
